I guess I get my life back now

Okay, I admit it. I spent the last four weekends and the past three weeks watching the Tour de France on television. Not every single second of every stage, but usually the last two hours of most days. Unless they were totally boring flat stages, when I recorded the stage and watched the stage on […]

Boston Bicycle Film Festival??
July 28, 2008 | Leave a Comment
My host site, Bostonbiker.org, has posted the schedule for the eighth annual [international] Bicycle Film Festival, which is coming to Boston from August 14 to 17th. Some new stuff, some old stuff.
What’s confusing is there is also a fourth annual Boston Bike Film Festival, taking place October 17th and 18th.

As I see it, there are a few facts. (1) Cyclists are allowed on the roads. (2) In Massachusetts, cyclists are not allowed on the sidewalks. […]

Article and response

One of the cyclists injured in the crash described in the following article comes into the shop where I work. He’s a delightful fellow, very engaging and kind. I was horrified to hear of this accident, and I saw the remains of the bikes he brought in to have assessed for insurance purposes. It takes […]

Ricco goes out for testing positive for a new kind of EPO. While in the climber’s jersey, as well as in the lead of the young rider’s competition. And, of course, after having run his mouth in the press about how awesome he is.
Well, is that what happens when Marco Pantani is your hero? Jackass.
And […]
