“Pee” is finally not the most searched-for word in my blog
November 24, 2009 | 2 Comments
It all happened because I posted a few photos that I thought were funny of pro cyclists all lined up at the side of the road in the middle of a bike race, taking a pause to water the landscape with the fruits of their loins. Next thing you know, I get 98% of my [...]

The Republic of Korea accounts for 71.02% of the traffic to this blog. Something is clearly going wrong.

This is how I feel about my blog

I’m just going to cite the entire New York Times article on this one.
I am afraid that Facebook has ruined me for internet updates, these days. To quote some of the interviewees in that article, maybe I will get back to it with more enthusiasm.
For the meantime, it’s a bit of a dripping faucet.

S-class: I have been negligent
August 18, 2008 | 1 Comment
I love artisanal bicycle caps. They don’t always suit me, but I always give them a try. Imagine my delight when my own hosting site gave birth to an interesting hat-making project in the hands of s-class, who has been making caps and giving them away anonymously around Boston.

This makes me a bad blogger.
The mojo will return, I promise.

Cool! Log your rides! For exactly no reason at all! Come on, you know you have all those hours at work you need to waste, why else would you be reading a blog?
Better yet, join the new Boston group right here.

I am humbled

This is the second day in a row that I opened this blog and laughed out loud just looking at the title and corresponding photo. I first clicked here thanks to Kerry Litka, and damn it if I’m not awfully white.
However, the graduate school posting made me laugh most of all. And I quote:
“Though professional [...]

When Facebook went wrong
December 5, 2007 | 1 Comment
I just got an email from Facebook with a “friend request” from someone I don’t know.
Okay, it’s possible that we once or twice passed through the same airspace, but this is just weird. I went to high school with said individual. Her last name is Shifflette. In Charlottesville, VA, the “S” section of the telephone [...]
